Did I want to be a pastor's wife?
How God took me from never-gonna-happen to surrendered to officially excited.
So, it’s 2024, and my husband is now a pastor.
In 2007, when I met Tyler for the second time (because he didn’t remember the first), we were fresh out of college, and he was just starting his own business. We were friends, then best friends, for 20 months before we started dating. In that timeframe, I started my own business too (wedding planning) with the help of this best friend who created my website for free. We spent nearly 15 years together talking shop, growing businesses, tweaking websites, hiring employees, selling businesses, and starting new ones. The entrepreneurial spirit is thick in our house. Just ask our daughters, Vivi and Vana, who are the proud owners of Juicertons, Soapertons and Bracelets & Besties (coming to a neighborhood this summer).
And then everything started changing.
Paywalls can feel so abrupt, right? I’m sorry for the inconvenience! This post is very vulnerable, and I am only able to share things like this because it isn’t being shared willy-nilly on the internet and just with our intimate community.
