The Orange Tree by Gustave Caillebotte

When I decided to close VMP, I knew I would take a few months to rest and hope my stress and mold-racked body would heal if I gave it a little space to do so. I had no idea we’d actually sell VMP instead (a longer process) and that the mold renovations would be more extensive than expected. I also didn’t expect to decide to homeschool the girls next year.

So my months of rest have been shortened to about one month but I am about to make the most of it! I know this is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity where I won’t need to work and the girls will be in school. We’ve actually taken month long trips before where the goal was rest and refreshment but this is so very different. During those seasons, I still worked a bit (though less than a full day) and we did it as a family.

This go around will be centered a lot on addressing the my burnout and destressing to better detox from the mold.

So here’s what I plan to do!
