It’s 10:30 PM and I just enjoyed a few hours with a bunch of y’all prepping our prayer journals (catch the replay here) so I’ll cut to the chase!

Here’s what I read this year! Leave a comment and share what your favorite books were this year!

HEALTH

The (Good) Food Solution: A Shame-Free Nutritional Journey to Food Freedom, Spiritual Nourishment, and Whole-Body Health - Meredyth Fletcher

I’ve gotten to know Meredyth for years and the motivation that she has brought to me in my health journey is on the page now for everyone to read! She has such a passion for this conversation so you can literally feel her excitement and knowledge but she shares the content in a way that’s so approachable.

The Way Out: A Revolutionary, Scientifically Proven Approach to Healing Chronic Pain - Alan Gordon

If you’re dealing with chronic pain, especially back pain, this is a must-read! If you are a hypochondriac, I think you’d love it too!

A Better Way to Think: Using Positive Thoughts to Change Your Life - H. Norman Wright

Anyone who struggles with negative thoughts needs to read this. Reading this book and The Way Out in tandem were the perfect pairing.

The Scars Women Bear: Physical and Emotional Healing After Childbirth or Surgery - Dr. Jennifer Melancon DPT

If you have had a c-section or laparoscopic surgery (I’ve had 2 of each in the last 11 years), you have to read this book. Scars can have an effect on our bodies. And if you live locally, definitely check out Jennifer’s services!
