This was so affirming to me. I want to amp up my prayer life in 2025 and this gave me the confidence to pray big things over and over again. All will be right in his timeline. Going to write out my list today. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing all these answered prayers! What a great motivation to keep praying and not grow weary! A couple big, exciting answers for me this year is that my 8 year old son finally accepted Christ, which is huge because he is so logically minded and it’s hard for him to just take things by faith. But I’m so thankful for the Lord’s work in his life. Another thing is that my husband was laid off from work in August, and he had actually been trying to get a different job for years, with no success. But my friends and I started praying and he ended up getting an amazing job in September, working at a company that helps people give to charities and other organizations. Just wanted to share to encourage others as well - God is always working and can do the impossible!
This was so refreshing. What a great way to end the year, remembering all He has done. I am so encouraged and inspired by your intentionality. Over the past few years following you through Val Marie Paper I have been encouraged by how intentional you are in all the areas of your life, as a mom, business owner, follower of Jesus etc. Welcome to the pastor's wife club and the homeschool world. I know you will/ have already brung your God given giftings and that intentionality to those realms too and your church family, homeschool community and family will be so blessed. Thank you for sharing.
Val, praise God for all the ways He’s worked in your life the last year. I went through my prayer journal yesterday, after what has been a rather challenging year and we are going through some big transitions and I filled 4 pages worth of answered prayer!!
I love doing this because so often I can come to the end of a year and this year I hadn’t been as consistent with prayer as I would have liked, but I can still see clearly all the ways that God has faithfully shown up and been with me through this year. It’s such a good process before I start planning my next year!!
I love your goal series, and am looking forward to tuning in for the rest of your posts over the coming days!!! 💕
I’ve been going through the “Fresh Start” devotional. I’m on day 18 and the prompt lines up with your post today! “Our God is gracious. He doesn’t hold anything back for the sake of holding things back.”
I can’t tell you how encouraging it is to read this Val. Thank you for sharing with us. I’ll be going through my journal these coming days. :)
This will be my first year using a prayer journal. God has done so much for me in 2024, and so many answered prayers. I look forward to keeping track this coming year. The post was very helpful. Thank you

This was so encouraging to read. God is beyond faithful and He can be trusted with all that we carry.
I’m flipping through my prayer journal now and I’m already blown away!
