Walking into the next season when you don't know what to expect

I’ve probably logged hours more hours than it would take to watch all 6 seasons of Lost¹, wondering how I will feel after the sale of my business Val Marie Paper is final².

How will I react?

Are you in one of those seasons, too, where it’s really hard to know until you actually step into it?

Maybe you’re about:

• Move to a new city

• Start a new job

• Welcome a new baby

• Start cancer treatment

You know it’s coming, but you aren’t yet there to know exactly how you’ll feel. You can plan only so much. Until you’re in the next phase, it’s all just one big guessing game.

That’s unsettling, isn’t it?

My unease has been growing and growing. I’ve known I would be stepping away from VMP since last July! That’s more than 6 months of anticipation and build-up. The closer it got, the more intense the question loomed.
