I read Every Woman a Theologian and am listening to Phylicia Masonheimer’s podcast-Verity. I just downloaded a sample of her book, Stop Calling Me Beautiful and see your endorsement in the front!
Chris Sherrod is on staff at Watermark, and he and his wife just came a weekend ago to teach a parenting conference at our local church. The way you described how you and your husband felt at Watermark is how I felt after last weekend under their teaching and encouragement in marriage and parenting.
Michele!! I love that! And I’m pretty sure I was in one of his sessions learning about the faith path. He did mention they had content forced marriage and parenting workshops for other churches. So cool.
The Joy Switch by Chris Coursey and Escaping Enemy Mode by Jim Wilder, Meese and Woolridge are two amazing books! (And E.E.M) has a podcast on Spotify too!
Table for Two, a collection of short stories by Amor Towles, was the book that has wowed me the most this year! I never read short stories, so it was a very different experience.
Also, the Masters is phone-free every year, and it has always been that way! So incredible!
I started Nora Ephrons book I remember nothing and was reminded how good essays were! Definitely going to check Towles book!
I didn’t know that. So I guess it’s well-received or not likes shock! I wondered how they could do that in this day but if it’s been the way, that sure helps. Good for them for not caving.

Phy is one of my faves! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 I’ve been listening to her podcast series on discernment.
Oh how I’ve missed these posts!! Always resonate with you and love your heart. Thank you!

Beauty Chasers by Timothy Willard.
Room for Good Things To Run Wild by Josh Nadeau has been my must-read book rec recently! What a refreshing and poetic change of pace in one book.
Oh I'm going check that out now! Thanks!!
