Longtime customer and follower here 🙋🏻‍♀️ Change is so hard, but necessary. Your prayer journals are the only prayer product that I have continued to use year after year. I have tried many, and nothing has given me the joy, excitement, and most of all peace as your journal format. I have gifted many and cherish my worn and loved copies. I look forward to following your story into the future 🧡

Happy Birthday tomorrow! It’s my birthday too.. I’ve always loved knowing that you’re a birthday sister 🥳

Love when God is so obvious but sad to see your journals go. Your newsletters are one of my (two) favorites to read so I am so happy and relieved you will be continuing to write.

Now to go stock up on journals!

I was sad to see the announcement but had a feeling - a month or so ago- I verbalized I hope she never closes, but God. His ways are above our ways and I love how you are obedient and so now I too am excited about what’s next for you. I had already purchased rhythms and decided this morning to purchase a bunch of signatures, whether I use them in future years or gift them to others. In order for new growth, some things need to pass away. I am looking forward to your creations on Etsy and would be interested in something for the iPad. I have begun using the Apple pencil on the iPad because I love handwriting over typing and it’s been fun to be creative with journaling that way. I will stay tuned for sure!

Oh Val…my heart is sad and happy all at the same time. I remember when you asked us to pray. Little did we know what the Holy Spirit was doing and how things were moving. Thank you for displaying a heart for God to listen, wait and obey. God has used you and this ministry to bless my life beyond words. I’ve been able to share journals with friends and family and then watch them the following year buy their own journals. My prayer life isn’t the same - I’m not the same. My heart desires Jesus more than anything and it was set on fire with a beautiful journal. You are serving Jesus with excellence - thank you my friend! Love you!

Life has a way of coming full circle sometimes. Every Sunday for the past 4 years, I’ve used a prayer journal that you made - not as intended, but as my sermon notebook at church. See, in 2020, you so kindly gifted TBC with beautiful journals. I grabbed one with the intention of using it to kickstart a prayer practice.

Well, you know how that year went. I prayed a lot, but I didn’t journal. Not one to let such a beautiful item go unused, I chose to write my sermon notes there instead. And I did. In 2020, and then came 2021.

In a moment of joy that 2020 was over, I crossed out the last 0 and wrote in my own 1, and kept using it. Then, it was 2022, and 2023, and now my “sermon notebook” has the 0, 1, 2, and 3 crossed out. In 2024, I’m still using that same book, but for a new pastor’s sermons. (See the circle?)

A few months ago, my tween saw my notebook and said “Mom, what’s up with the years crossed out?” I told her the original purpose for the journal and that I had the intention to buy a new one to use properly. She told me she wanted one, too. So, tonight I ordered a 2025 prayer journal as a gift to myself, and a teen journal to put in her stocking at Christmas. We will kick off next year in prayer with your beautiful tools as our guide. Much love to you and your family as your next adventures unfold.

Oh my gosh I can't believe it 😭 But WOW, your heart for obeying the Lord is so inspiring and beautiful. I was just listening to an old podcast episode where Natalie Grant was talking about her health scare where she thought she'd never sing again, and how she had to give that up to God... almost like Abraham with Isaac. Your post made me think of that! I'm sure VMP has been like an Isaac to you.

VMP has been a blessing to me. My prayer journals are some of my most cherished possessions that I look forward to my children having one day. I've made 2 real life friends--one through the Grumpy Mom launch team and one just by noticing her journal at church a couple rows ahead of me so I had to introduce myself after the sermon! I've been encouraged by your books, learned from the prayer course, and had my prayer life changed by the journals.

I will absolutely be stocking up, because I don't know what I'd do without them! I love the format!

Prayers over your next season in life and your next decade... whatever you do, it will be blessed because you are walking faithfully with the Holy Spirit as your guide! 🩷🙏🏻

Obviously, obeying the Lord is the right choice, but I was so so sad to read this. I still am just thinking about it. I bought several signatures as gifts, and it's a real bummer to know they can never get their own. But the Lord knows best, and He knew this was coming when I bought them.

Wow! I definitely did NOT see this one coming. Selfishly, I'm sad for myself since I love your journals and other resources, but I understand where you're coming from. Congrats on ELEVEN hard earned years in business! That is no easy feat! I pray this next chapter is exponentially sweeter than the last! Best wishes to Val and the VMP Team.

Oh....and a printables shop on Etsy would be awesome! I'm not a techy person when it comes to prayer & quiet time, but I understand others may be.

Girl, me too! And thanks. I am hoping as I simplify, I'll be able to share all the ideas I've had to create but couldn't simply because it required so much redtape. ;)
