I have a swim skirt in my Amazon cart. I have seen a lot this season and think they are cute. Workouts for me...first thing when I get up I do Pilates on Youtube- Move with Nicole is free. Then I walk 30 min each afternoon/evening. For books - I am a fiction lover-The Hidden Prince by Tessa Afahar is historical fiction. Such a good story and message if hope. Since I am in my 50's with grown kids in their 20's I have time for mentoring. Seems like everyone is too busy to ask.
I too like Pilates and Barre classes are one of my favorite workouts as well. However, you have to look into PVOLVE- itβs the very best workout platform for women! I do all my workouts from home. You do have to purchase some equipment but itβs no more costly than a gym membership or monthly classes. The customer service is amazing if you ever need them. The instructors are personable and encouraging (without being irritating). Not only am I working out for my body and health for today but for tomorrow and years later. They educate on the importance of weight bearing exercises for bone health, stability work, and mobility of joints. They share about how these specific moves will help on real life situations. This is also not a βseniorβ sit and be fit kind of workout. It will completely challenge you! I have worked out my whole life and these are exercises that are totally unique and challenge me physically and mentally. They have a variety of series including ones for pelvic floor, menopause, weight training, mat definition, (Pilates inspired), sculpt and burn (with short bursts of cardio) etc. The app is user friendly - you can airplay to a tv. You donβt need a lot of space to do the workouts. You will most definitely see and feel a difference. They even have a 30 day guarantee- if you donβt like - money back. As you can tell I am passionate about this because itβs that good. I hope one of you will check it out!
So curious now about the perfume! I have about 7 books going currently (mystery, Jinger Vuolo Becoming Free Indeed, None Like You, Adopting Older Children, and more) plus a ton on the TBR list.
Ok fine, Iβm going to have to give in and try the Merit tinted spf Iβm seeing everywhere. I alternate between Lindywell for Pilates/barre/strength/foam rolling/breathwork and MWH for Pilates/yoga/meditation. Jcrew swimsuits always, and theyβre usually on sale. Reading Ordinary Time by Annie B. Jones. Wonderful post!
I am 58 and a grandma, we have several mentorship/discipleships in our church but we are trying to get more people involved. We find that time is the biggest factor that discipleship doesn't happen with younger people mostly moms. We are praying and actively trying to form those relationships. Praying it happens everywhere whatever the obstacles are that are preventing it from happening. And I love the swim skirt, doesnβt look old ladyish.

Iβm reading The Hidden Prince, too, and itβs so good.

I have been wearing swim dresses and skirts for years and love them! I also prefer them or swim shorts for my daughter too!
