This may seem contradictory, but I have actually been very encouraged by Ecclesiastes 2:18-25 as I think towards some transitions and shifting dreams for my life. Having built so deeply (and so long!) into a venture for the Lord, and then handing it to someone else can be so difficult, and yet it is not meaningless!
"There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. This also, is from the hand of God, for apart from Him who can eat or who can have enjoyment?"
May you treasure the joy that came from the fruit of your "toil" for the Lord, knowing this is from the hand of God.
